Enable user for Teams Shifts Integration

Objective

This Tutorial shows you how to assign the necessary permissions in PowerApps to the App created in Entra by adding it as a user.

Prerequisites

  • You are System Administrator
  • The setup of Teams Shifts in Microsoft Entra is already done
  • The setup of Teams Shifts in PowerApps is already done
  • The Cloud Flows for Teams Shifts have already been activated

Click Through

  • Start in the Power Platform Admin Center
  • Click on Environments
  • Select the correct environment
  • On the ribbon, click on Settings
  • Click on Users + permissions
  • Click on Application users
  • Click on + New app user
  • Click on + Add an app
  • Select the app that was previously created during App Registration (Setup Teams Entra), e.g. Teams Shift Integration
  • Click Add
  • For Business unit, type the name of your environment and select the option that fits your environment best
  • Click on the pencil icon next to Security Roles to add security roles
  • Look for and add Hubdrive HR App Administrator
  • Click on Save
  • Click on Save again
  • Click on Create
  • The connection between Teams and Hubdrive is now complete
