Enable user for Teams Shifts Integration

Objective

This Tutorial shows you how to assign the necessary permissions in PowerApps to the App created in Entra by adding it as a user.

Start in the Power Platform Admin Center
Click on Environments
Select the correct environment
On the ribbon, click on Settings
Click on Users + permissions
Click on Application users
Click on + New app user
Click on + Add an app
Select the app that was previously created during App Registration (Setup Teams Entra), e.g. Teams Shift Integration
Click Add
For Business unit, type the name of your environment and select the option that fits your environment best
Click on the pencil icon next to Security Roles to add security roles
Look for and add Hubdrive HR App Administrator
Click on Save
Click on Save again
Click on Create
The connection between Teams and Hubdrive is now complete

When you finish this tutorial, the technical setup of your Teams Shifts integration is done.

There is one more configuration the HR Manager needs to make before using it, which is the mapping of Absence Types.
