DocuSign eSignature for Hubdrive HR extends the Digital Personnel File & Documents solution with seamless digital signature workflows directly within Microsoft Dynamics 365. HR teams, managers, and employees can create, send, and sign contracts and HR documents directly from the digital personnel file, without switching systems or relying on manual, disconnected processes.

All relevant personnel documents, such as employment contracts, supplementary agreements, performance and target agreements, references, or data protection declarations — are created in Hubdrive as usual and stored in the digital personnel file. DocuSign enhances this process with secure, trackable electronic signatures, a complete audit trail, automated reminders, and real-time status tracking. This turns the digital personnel file into a centralized end-to-end process, covering everything from document creation and signing to the final storage of the completed document in the HR document management system.

Technical Details

The extension leverages DocuSign’s integration for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and seamlessly incorporates it into the Hubdrive HR solution through the Digital Personnel File & Documents extension. Using the DocuSign API and the Dynamics 365 integration, documents are transferred from Hubdrive HR to DocuSign, signature workflows are initiated, and once completed, the signed documents and status information are automatically written back to the digital personnel file in Dynamics 365.
