Use Rollout Configurations

Objective

In HR for Dynamics there are 5 rollout configurations that you can address via the rollout center. Out of the box there are the configurations for training, training plan, & certificate.

Hidden behind these configurations are backend datasets that define what data is copied from a template into a "usage" form.
The selection options for the templates also change when you select the configurations in the Rollout Center.

That means:
If you select the "Training Plan with / without Exams" configurations in the Rollout Center, the training plan templates that have already been created are displayed in the "Template for rollout" field.
If you select the "Training" configuration, all training templates will be displayed.
If you select the "Certificate with / without Exams" configurations, all certificate templates will be displayed.

Prerequisites

  • This functionality becomes available with Rollup Update 42 as a Preview Feature

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Under Training, click on Rollout Centers
  • Click on + New
  • Click on Rollout Configuration and select the desired configuration:
    • Training Plan with Exams: This is the configuration for rolling out a training plan with exams
    • Training Plan without Exams: This is the configuration for rolling out a training plan without exams
    • Training: This is the configuration for a single training and its learning modules
    • Certificate with Exams: This is the configuration for rolling out a certificate with an exam
    • Certificate without Exams: This is the configuration for rolling out a certificate without an exam
  • Save & Close
