Enable / Disable Time Tracking for Employees

Objective

HR Managers can now select which employees can use the Time & Attendance functionality. This ensures that only selected employees will receive Time Summaries, Time Sheets and Daily Summaries, so they can create their attendances and track their times.

Prerequisites

  • You are HR Manager

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • Under Administration, navigate to Employees
  • Open the desired employee's file
  • Select the Tab Time & Attendance
  • Use the toggle Enable Time Tracking to select Yes/No
  • Save & Close

Hint

  • This should be done for every employee that needs to track time.
  • Only HR Managers are able to change this setting.
  • If you had a previous rollup version (before RU48), with existing employees, you don't have to change anything (the standard will keep the employees as part of time tracking).
  • If you create new employees after installing RU 48, they will be automatically part of time tracking, unless you change the toggle to No.

Recommendations

  • We recommend to do this right after you set the employment terms of the employee to Valid.
  • The toggle has to be changed before the monthly rollout happens to make sure the employee is included in the rollout of this month.
