Change favicon of your Recruiting Portal

Objective

This Tutorial shows you how to change the favicon of your Recruiting Portal. The favicon is the little picture that appears in the browser tab next to the name of the website.

Prerequisites

  • The Recruiting Portal is already set up
  • You are System Administrator
  • Your desired Favicon is available to you in .ico file format

Click Through

  • Start inHR HUB
  • Click on HR HUB in the top ribbon
  • For older Portals, select the Portal Management App; for newer Portals, select the Power Pages Management App
  • Under Content click on Web Files
  • Click on + New
  • Enter the Name favicon.ico
  • Choose Website Recruiting Portal - Hubdrive
  • Choose Parent Page Home - Hubdrive
  • Set Partial URL to your favicon file name (e.g. favicon.ico)
  • Set Publishing State to Published
  • Save (Screenshot)
  • Click on Select next to File Content
  • Select the file you want to be your favicon
  • Save & Close

Result

In this example, the Favicon was changed to a blue square:
