Create numbering for job offer ID and transfer ID

Objective

This page shows you how to create a numbering for the job offer ID and transfer ID. This is a prerequisite for publishing your vacancy on the recruiting channels.

Process

HR Manager
Configure the Job offer ID
HR Manager
Configure the Transfer ID
HR Manager
Publish vacancies on recruiting channels

Click Through

  • Start in HR HUB
  • In the lower left corner, switch from Overview to Settings
  • Under Administration, click on Numbering
  • Click on +New
  • Fill in the fields for the job offer ID:
    • Numbered Entity: xrm1_open_placement
    • Numbered Field: xrm1_vacancy_id
    • Define Prefix, Number of Digits and Separator
    • Set Record Maintained by to 'Self Maintained'
  • Save & Close
  • Click on +New
  • Fill in the fields for the transfer ID:
    • Numbered Entity: xrm1_channel_publishing
    • Numbered Field: xrm1_posting_identifier
    • Define Prefix, Number of Digits and Separator
    • Set Record Maintained by to 'Self Maintained'
  • Save & Close

Hint

  • By setting the records to Self Maintained, you make sure they will not be overwritten by system updates.

Result

The numbering of the job offer ID and the transfer ID are now configured. Below, you see a screenshot of the correct configuration of the transfer ID.
