Application Quality Measurement

Objective

In the Recruiting module, you find information on the quality of applications displayed in many views. The application quality is displayed via a standard measurement in the categories RRA, RAA, and RQA.
On this page, you find information on what these categories mean, and how to utilize the information on application quality in your daily recruiting.

Application quality: Measured in RRA, RAA, and RQA

The different categories are used to describe how helpful an application is to you.
You don't have to add anything manually - the category changes automatically as you keep processing the application in the HR solution.

At first, all applications have the quality RRA as they enter the system, which stands for "Recruiting Received Application". All applications in status "New" are assigned this category.

If the application is not rejected immediately and you have a closer look at the attached data, you move the application status to "Initial Validation".
Applications that reach this point are assigned the quality RAA, which stands for "Recruiting Accepted Application". This means the applications in this category are well-written enough to be considered a "real application" and you screen them for possible fits.

Finally, if you come to the conclusion internally that an application is indeed a good fit, and the candidate is invited to an interview, upon processing your application to the status "First Interview", the application moves to the category RQA, which stands for "Recruiting Qualified Application". This is the highest quality category of applications and means the application is of good quality and from a possibly fitting candidate.

Using the quality metric to improve your Recruiting

You can find the Application Quality in most views inside the Recruiting area, as well as inside the Vacancy records. After a vacancy is published and applications are coming in, the system automatically tracks the quality of related applications as described above.
If you open the vacancy record, you can see a summary of the quality of all applications you received for this vacancy.
In addition, you have the field "RAA needed" which you can use to enter your own estimate for how many decent-quality applications will likely be needed until you can fill the position with a good fit.

You can also use this metric to analyze how many high-quality applications you got per vacancy, per job portal, and so on.
