Time tracking for Employees from BC
Objective
The objective of this page is to explain how employees from BC can track their attendances in Hubdrive.
Use Time & Attendance
Within Hubdrive, it is possible for the employees to track their time using the Time & Attendance module. So for the employee who were carried over from the BC instance to Hubdrive, they can now use the complete module.
The Time & Attendance in Hubdrive has only connections with the Time Sheets created in Business Central. For more information about the mapping, please refer to this page: Time Sheets

Time Tracking Process
The process for Time Tracking is done entirely in Hubdrive, therefore the employees can follow the complete process described in the Time & Attendance module. For more information, please use the tutorial provided here: Employees: Time tracking with virtual time clock
Maintain Employment Terms
In order for the employees to track their attendances, their Employment Terms also should be maintained, since they contain the allocated working hours, that will be used to define how much time the employees should work on a determined day. For more information on how to maintain the Employment Terms of your employees, that are transferred from BC, please use this tutorial: Assign Employment Terms to employees created in BC
Overview and Reports
After the hours are entered by the employees, the Supervisors can track and approve those reports. To complement the complete overview of the time tracking, the leave requests created in BC and synchronized to Hubdrive, are included in the reports, providing a clear view of the attendances of the employees.
