Edit or delete planned future data changes as HR Manager
Objective
There may be the need for you to find and edit or delete scheduled future changes before the effective date. This click-through will guide you through the process.
Prerequisites
- Digital Personnel File has already been created
- Future changes have already been scheduled and saved
Click Through
- Start in HR HUB
- Under Administration, click on Employees
- Open the desired employee's file
- Open the tab in which you previously created future data changes
- Click the Button Set Future Changes within the data segment you have made changes to that you would like to edit/cancel (e.g. Bank Data)
- A new side panel will open on the right side of your screen. Within this side panel you will find a table of existing scheduled data changes.
- Select your desired entry with a single left click
- To Edit your Future Data Change:
- Click the button Edit in the top ribbon of the table
- Make your changes to the Future Change Dataset in the side panel
- Click Submit
- To Delete your Future Data Change:
- Click on the three dots in the top ribbon of the table
- Select Delete Employee Future Changes
- Confirm the deletion - Careful, this can't be undone
Hint
- The changes will become effective immediately at the beginning of the calendar day specified in the Effective Date Field.
- When future changes are applied, all fields in the segment will be overwritten with the exact content of the changed field. An empty field in the future change will overwrite as empty. Changes to the digital personnel file made between the creation of the future change and its execution will be overwritten by the future change.
- You can have multiple pending future changes for the same employee and data segment at the same time.
- Deleted Future Changes can't be restored, but you can enter another new Future Change if needed.
Recommendations
- Careful: If, as a Future Change, you assign a new supervisor in the data segment "Professional Information", the new Supervisor needs to have a system user assigned or the data change for the whole segment will cancel.
