Overview: Different Types of Reviews

Reviews in Hubdrive

Organizations will use a variety of methods to evaluate employee performance in order to understand a variety of metrics such as performance or skill gaps, and apply training plans or measurable targets for employees to achieve to improve not only productivity, but also employee job satisfaction.

This page will give you an overview of the different type of reviews you can use in Hubdrive.


Reviews can be created in Hubdrive for Manager/Employee Reviews, for employees to receive feedback directly from their managers, or, 360° Reviews which are a peer review. 

 

Types of Reviews

There are two types of reviews in Hubdrive:
  • Manager/Employee reviews are a direct way for managers to deliver an evaluation of employee performance, confidentially, with an employee.  These reviews can be created using Review Templates to provide a consistent approach across the employee-base, or, created with nuance to meet the specific need of an employee.
  • 360° Reviews are a peer review for a broader picture of an employee's performance. Manager/employee reviews are designed to be more focused from a manager's perspective, 360° Reviews provide perspective from subordinates, colleagues, and managers to provide a more detailed assessment of an employee's performance.

 

The Review Template Types

In Hubdrive, you can create Review Templates as a basis for Reviews. These are separated between Employee Evaluation Review and Employee Target Review. 


Employee Evaluation Reviews (Evaluation Template) can be used to assess the current skill level of an employee in a specific area, then set up training for employees to improve on existing skills. 


Employee Target Reviews (Target Template) can be used to assess an employee's potential, understanding a required course of action that may be required for an employee to progress professionally.  Employee Target reviews can be created with measurable Training in focus to establish a target for an employee to achieve.


Both Review Template Types can be used for both Types of Reviews.
