Data Import: Leave Entitlement

Objective

The following page will guide you through the import process. This can be used to bring large amounts of data into your system.
In this module, we show you how to use Data Import to import leave entitlements and leave requests.

 

Process

HR Manager
Download the templates for data import
HR Manager
Populate the necessary fields into the Excel template
HR Manager
Import data back into the system

Prerequisites

  • You are HR manager
  • Download and import the files in the correct order – more information in the Import Guide

Click Through

  • In HR HUB
  • Open the Advanced Settings
  • Select Data Management
  • Click on Templates for Data Import
  • Select Leave Entitlement template
  • Click on Download
  • Open the Excel file
  • Enable Editing
  • Add the employee's name
  • Add the absence type
  • Add the start date
  • Add the end date
  • Add the amount of entitlements
  • Repeat this for all data you wish to import to the system
  • Once you're done, save
  • Go back to Data Management
  • Select Imports
  • Click on Import Data
  • Add your Excel file
  • Click Next
  • Then click on Submit and Finish
  • The process is now done

Hint

  • The Import process is the same for all entities
  • Note that importing large amounts of data at once may take some time

Result

You can now track the import of leave entitlements on the same page. As soon as the import is done, Status Reason will change to "completed".
When the import is complete, go back to the corresponding entity to see that the records have been added.
